​​Sarah is a full-time portrait and still life artist. Most days, you will find her working in her Wimbledon studio in SW London.

 

Sarah is drawn to both portraiture and still life. Her work in still life is a study in simplicity. Taking household objects and finding beauty in their shape, colour or quiet stillness.

​

She paints and draws as an act of mindful focus. “I have a strong need to find perfection in my work, but at the same time I'm very attracted to looser and more abstract pieces. Being pulled in these two directions can be confusing, so my practise looks at moving between these two spaces and trying to find balance."​
